Here's a couple of views from yesterday, a neighbour is having their drive re-surfaced so I discretely snapped a couple of photos.....
as you can see in the top photo the weather was foggy and stayed like that most of the day.
Linking with Jane for more Thursday views
On Wednesday however as the weather was beautiful, I went on a little walk down to Hill Hook Nature Reserve so I thought I'd show you some photos from there.....
a big welcome!
The beauty of bare trees and branches
The old Corn Mill
Does anyone know the name of this type of fungi?
and to finish, some heart shapes.....is the one below for real or man made?
and finally a sweet little Robin with a heart shaped stump below him....awwww!

Such a lovely lot of photos, what a foggy morning.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, particularly the dear little Robin. The fungi is Wood or Mouse Ear Fungi "Hireneola auricula-judae".
ReplyDeleteIt was misty here yesterday too and never lifted all day. I think the fungus is known as Jew's ear I don't know its latin name. The nature reserve looks lovely:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter photos - you've got a great camera and 'eye for a picture'! Jx
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference a day makes eh Suzy? Your woody photos are gorgeous. There's always so many textures to capture in the woods. Lovely.
