Instead of snow today, I thought I'd show you some of the icicles I can see on homes from my window.....
you can just make out the icicles on the bird table
and this little chap was sitting at the top of the damson tree.....
linking up with Jane for more Thursday views

I saw a little wren leaning against some single glazed glass to keep warn the other day. Poor thing! Jx
ReplyDeleteI am going to be gross now....consider this fair warning......In this cold our nose hairs freeze... the icicles reminded me that we joke about 'snot popsicles'!

Love the blackbird. There is so much beauty out there right now x
ReplyDeleteThose icicles are amazing. Havent noticed any around here though, I have yet to go out!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter photos :) I really like the first one, and the bird photos are very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love your Thursday view this week, the snow with you still looks so thick and one of those icicles is huge!

Hi Suzy. Such pretty photos. I love the icicles too but even when it snows here (which I am still waiting for BTW) we never really have any icicles..Happy Thursday..Judy
ReplyDeleteLovely icy photos, but it must be so very cold.
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty, Suzy. Icicles look like magic to me. The bird table looks wonderful. Keep warm xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of icicles! Aren't they wonderful? I do worry for the little birds at this time of year, the blackbird has fluffed up his feathers to keep warm on top of the damson tree:)
ReplyDeleteMaking me shiver just looking at them!
ReplyDeleteThere is a thatched cottage in our village with a full curtain of icicles hanging from the thatch - looking very pretty - except they are a rather horrid yellow colour.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the views from your window! These are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely views, we are lucky to have a winter wonderland outside our window at the moment but the thaw is on its way and no icicles for us!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - iciles are beautiful aren't they? love the blackbird photo.
ReplyDeleteHi there - nice pictures. I dont wake up to mornings like this anymore. And what makes me laugh is that I now have central heating and never did in a country where frost and snow are a real part of winter!!

Beautiful photos ...makes me (almost) wish it was winter with a hot chocolate & cosy fire but still loving summer & the hot weather we are having at the moment.

Trust the snow has melted now where you are. You have taken some lovely photos of it. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! Brum got a lot of snow this year. It's so picturesque but a bit of a challenge to get around. Those icicles are pretty impressive. Hope they've all gone now and you're back to normal where you are
